End-User:

1st crew is an oil extraction crew that belongs to VICTORY oil field.

End-User's Demand:

Oil wells, pipes and tanks are distributed in open country. The users required 24×7 surveillance in order to prevent theft of oil and damage to equipment.

The Challenge:

The 1st crew needed to monitor three remote oil wells. Traditional deployment of video cables or network cables would take months and future maintenance is very laborious. The customer required a reliable, highly-effective and low-cost wireless IP surveillance solution.

The Solution:

Wireless Point to Multipoint Connectivity Solution
SILVERNET 5GHz Wireless Bridge:
A5 BRIDGE
A5 23DBI INT (Integrated with 23 dBi panel antenna)

1st crew sets up video cameras respectively by three oil wells, and transmits video signal to the control room (surveillance center) for surveillance.

The central point

The central point is the surveillance center and three remote points are A, B, C oil wells. At the central point A5 BRIDGE and a power divider were connected with three 22dBi antennas aiming at three remote points.

Aiming at the central point, three A5 23DBI INT are set up at remote points configured as CPE.

  • The distance from A oil well to the surveillance center is 1km;
  • the distance from B oil well to the surveillance center is 2km;
  • the distance from C oil well to the surveillance center is 3km.

The Results:

The surveillance center at the central station can view clear, controllable, recordable, live video. The customers can see three channels of fluent images by the surveillance software nDVR integrated by the video server.
